Without a doubt, street art has become a major art form in the 21st century. Even though, most of it illegal, many artists started making a showing people their art on the street. People like street art so much because it is made by the people for the people. It is uncensored and isn't touched by any influence like politics.

*The NOLA Mural Project
The NOLA Mural Prject began in the summer of 2017 after New Orleans resident Neal Morris allowed an artist to paint an anti-Trump mural on Morris's Property. The City of New Orleans orderd Morris to remove the mural, but he refused. Morris ended up being sued. Latoya Cantrell was sworn in as the first African-American female mayer of New Orleans. She believed strongly in local artists and their right to the First Amendment. This is when the NOLA Mural Project was born and formed by Neal Morris. The goal of the NOLA Mural Project is to allow artists to "just create," and let the city know that there is no such thing as too much art.
